Job summary

LanguageLine Solutions UK is seeking an OPI Interpreter Recruiter at our London head office. You will recruit freelance, home-based telephone interpreters and drive the six‑stage selection process in collaboration with UK and US teams to meet targets. The role demands strong telephone interviewing, sharp attention to detail, and solid Excel skills. You will manage DBS checks, paperwork, and data in Taleo while producing weekly recruitment reports and handling ad‑hoc duties.

Qualifications

• Educated to A Level standard or equivalent.
• Experience in busy recruitment roles.
• Strong interviewing and candidate screening skills.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
• Experience with DBS checks and GDPR compliance.

Responsibilities

• Guide candidates through the six-stage recruitment process.
• Source candidates meeting criteria and potentially rarer languages.
• Conduct initial phone interviews and English tests.
• Coordinate DBS checks and joining paperwork.
• Record candidate progress in Taleo and other systems.
• Produce weekly and monthly recruitment reports and meet targets.
• Handle ad-hoc duties for the department.
