Job summary

Qualifications

• Full GMC Registration and Licence to Practice
• MBBS or equivalent with 4+ years postgraduate training in Ophthalmology
• Desirable: higher qualifications like MRCOphth or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Provide direct input to patients and coordinate care within MDT
• Undertake comprehensive ophthalmic assessments and document findings
• Develop and implement investigation and management plans for ophthalmic conditions
• Recognise need for consultant input and escalate appropriately
• Ensure continuity of care and accurate documentation of assessments and plans
