Qualifications

• GMC registered Ophthalmologist with FRCOphth Part 1 and Refraction examination.
• Experience in ophthalmology within NHS or equivalent setting preferred.
• Desire to pursue CESR pathway and specialist training.

Responsibilities

• Acute ophthalmology clinics in the eye emergency department (EED) and ward referrals including visiting other hospitals.
• Emergency and Acute Ophthalmology; theatre sessions.
• Procedures / laser / injections / minor operations; specialty and virtual clinics; clinical administration; teaching.
