Job summary

The SOUTH TEES HOSPITALS NHS FOUNDATION TRUST ophthalmology training post offers supervised exposure to all aspects of ophthalmology within a well-supported department. It supports CESR accreditation and ST3 level training and prepares doctors for UK consultant roles.

Clinics, operating sessions and primary care duties, including on-call, are part of the experience, with dedicated supervision and regional teaching events to enhance learning and progression toward consultant accreditation.

Qualifications

• GMC registered with at least two years of ophthalmology experience.
• Experience through UK training pathways welcomed.

Responsibilities

• participate in outpatient clinics, operating sessions and primary care session, including on-call.
