Job summary

The role requires collaboration with Medical Lead, Regulatory, Statistics, and Clinical Operations, and involves a hybrid work arrangement with onsite presence in London/Bourne as needed.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree (MD) or equivalent required.
• Willingness to work across ophthalmic indications.
• Extensive experience in biotech/pharmaceutical drug development.
• Proven record as a medical leader and in study design.
• Excellent regulatory writing experience and health authority interactions.

Responsibilities

• Design and advise on clinical development plans aligned with asset strategy.
• Provide medical monitoring and safety oversight for trials, including SAE review.
• Collaborate with Regulatory, Statistics, Clinical Operations, and Commercial teams.
• Draft/review safety narratives and regulatory documents for site-reported events.
• Lead scientific training of team members and external investigators.
