Job summary

Optegra Eye Healthcare is seeking an experienced ward nurse to join our dedicated team in the Ophthalmic Surgical pathway. You will provide skilled clinical and technical assistance in the operating theatre and contribute to peri-operative and post-operative care within the hospital's refractive suite.

The role requires RGN or ODP registration, ophthalmology/perioperative qualifications, and a minimum of one year in ophthalmology theatre, including experience in private and operating settings.

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) required.
• Current NMC/ODP registration with no restrictions.
• Qualification in Ophthalmology or perioperative care.
• Minimum one year of experience in Ophthalmology Theatre.
• Knowledge of private and operating theatre settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled clinical and technical assistance as a member of the operating theatre team.
• Deliver peri-operative and post-operative care in the surgical and refractive suite.
