Job summary

Optegra Eye Health Care in Brighton is seeking an experienced ward nurse to join our ophthalmic surgical pathway. You will provide skilled clinical and technical assistance as a member of the operating theatre team, and support peri-operative and post-operative care for our patients.

You must be a Registered General Nurse or ODP with current NMC/ODP registration, ophthalmology or perioperative care qualification, and at least one year of ophthalmology theatre experience.

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner with current registration.
• Ophthalmology or perioperative/perioperative care qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled clinical and technical assistance as part of the operating theatre team.
• Support peri-operative and post-operative care in the ophthalmic surgical pathway.
