Job summary

Optical Express in Birmingham is recruiting a Theatre Practitioner to join our busy surgery team. The role involves scrub duties for laser vision correction and-related procedures, with an expectation to assist in anaesthesia and pre-operative assessments.

There is regular travel to other Optical Express clinics, with all expenses covered. We offer excellent benefits including generous leave and staff discounts, along with ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be NMC or HCPC registered with previous theatre or scrub experience.
• Experience in theatre or scrub environments is essential.

Responsibilities

• Laser Vision Correction - Scrub.
• Anaesthetic assistant.
• Pre-operative assessments.
• Discharge patients with after-care advice and medications.
