Job summary

Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting an Ophthalmic Nurse/Orthoptist Injector to join the Ophthalmology team. You will work within nurse-led IVT clinics for AMD and retinal diseases, collaborating with ophthalmologists and the wider MDT.

Qualifications

• NMC registered or HCPC equivalent is required.
• Postgraduate ophthalmic qualification or willingness to achieve.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development and revalidation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver intravitreal injections as part of nurse-led clinics for AMD and retinal conditions.
• Support outpatient nursing team in multi-speciality ophthalmology clinics.
• Maintain safe, accurate records and participate in audits and service improvements.
