Job summary

The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for an enthusiastic Orthoptist to join our ophthalmic team across two hospital sites. You will provide technical support to the Ophthalmology service, performing tests such as ocular coherence tomography and visual fields to aid diagnosis and assessment, and commuting between sites as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in ophthalmic diagnostic tests is advantageous.
• Competence in ocular OCT, visual fields, biometry, fundus photography and corneal topography.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to the Ophthalmology service and other hospital departments.
• Undertake diagnostic tests as requested by clinicians, including OCT, visual fields, biometry, fundus photography and corneal topography.
• Assist with administrative and clerical tasks relating to Orthoptic and Ophthalmic services.
