Job summary

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust's Eye Treatment Centre at Frimley Park Hospital hosts an Ophthalmic Imaging support role. The post holder will rotate between clinical areas in this busy ophthalmic unit, assisting registered practitioners and ensuring accurate patient imaging and documentation.

You will be expected to complete mandatory training, maintain confidentiality, and contribute to budget-aware resource use while developing your skills and taking on extended duties as competence grows.

Qualifications

• Completed Care certificate program or in progress.
• Enthusiastic and motivated to learn.
• Willing to undertake training to carry out extended duties.
• Ability to perform area specific clinical competencies under direction of registered practitioner.
• Experience working in a team and undertaking duties as requested.

Responsibilities

• Support registered practitioners in providing safe and effective care.
• Adhere to policies and nursing procedures per Trust policy.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient records and documentation.
• Attend and complete all mandatory training.
• Promote good working relationships and support the ophthalmic team.
• Use resources efficiently with awareness of budget implications.
• Carry out administrative and ophthalmic duties as delegated.
