Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting an Ophthalmic Technician to assess care needs, plan and implement programmes of care, and work autonomously within the ward setting. You will contribute to the development of practice, ensure patient safety, and uphold dignity and human rights through person-centered care.

The post focuses on ophthalmic diagnoses and imaging, collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, and delivering high-quality care across Moorfields and satellite

Qualificações

• Carrying out clinical ophthalmic practice within designated areas with high standards of nursing assessment and care planning.
• Acting in line with the NMC code of professional conduct and striving to maintain and improve knowledge and competence.
• Communicating effectively with multi-disciplinary team and with patients and relatives.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out ophthalmic nursing procedures and treatments.
• Take a clear patient history and ensure accurate documentation.
• Open and close clinics as required and maintain infection control standards.
