FLT Operator, Material Movement - Sidcup

Contract: 3 x Permanent
Salary + Bonus

What you become part of:

Sidcup Operations plays a pivotal role within the CCEP network, producing around 50% of the GB SKU portfolio. The site offers a one-stop shop to the GB Market with a range of packages that are single sourced from Sidcup, such as the wide portfolio of small cans. Across their 7 manufacturing lines, the site can produce 480,000 cans per hour, 96,000 PET bottles per hour, and 48,000 glass bottles. Currently, around 300 employees work across Manufacturing, QESH, and Engineering. Experience here can lead to excellent career opportunities both in Sidcup and across other GB sites and Pan-European locations.

What to expect:

You will report to the Raw Materials Team Leader, working as part of our Upstream team to service all production lines, ensuring products are produced safely and to the highest quality. Responsibilities include operating Forklift Trucks, conducting quality checks, GMP tasks, replenishing and entering materials, supporting all Upstream areas, housekeeping, and recycling operations.

Skills & Essentials:
  • Operating Fork Lift Trucks - Counterbalance, Reach, PPT, RPT, ARCA
  • Attending mandatory daily briefings at shift start times (06:00/18:00)
  • Conducting pre-inspections of all MHE and reporting defects immediately
  • Adhering to all Health & Safety regulations
  • Recording Quality Checks
  • Providing a continuous supply of materials via the Raw Materials SAP queue
  • Following yard standards, including contraflow system, packaging storage, stacking, and waste segregation
  • Replenishing raw material stocks (packaging, bottle lids, preforms, etc.)
  • Adhering to SOP re-validation schedules
  • Engaging with S.D.C.A verification to improve standards
  • Reporting hazards and incidents with Hazard Reporting Forms
  • Participating in the 3Cs initiative for operational improvements
  • Reporting damages to APR Racking and product damages, disposing of damaged products properly
  • Maintaining area cleanliness and performing hygiene and GMP tasks
  • Using standard waste streams
