FLT Operator, Material Movement – Sidcup

What you become part of:

Sidcup Operations plays a pivotal role within the CCEP network, producing around 50% of the GB SKU portfolio. The site offers a one-stop shop to the GB Market with a range of packages that are single sourced from Sidcup, such as the wide portfolio range of small cans. The site has 7 manufacturing lines capable of producing 480,000 cans per hour, 96,000 PET bottles per hour, and 48,000 Glass bottles. Currently, around 300 employees work across Manufacturing, QESH, and Engineering. Experience here can lead to excellent career opportunities both in Sidcup and across other GB sites and Pan-European locations.

What to expect:

You will report to the Raw Materials Team Leader as part of our Upstream team, supporting all production lines to produce our products safely and to the highest quality. Tasks include operating Forklift Trucks, conducting quality checks, GMP tasks, replenishing and entering materials, supporting in all Upstream areas, housekeeping, and recycling operations.

  • Operating Fork Lift Trucks – Counterbalance, Reach, PPT, RPT, ARCA
  • Attending mandatory daily shift briefings at 06:00/18:00
  • Conducting pre-inspections of all MHE, reporting defects immediately
  • Adhering to all Health & Safety regulations
  • Recording Quality Checks
  • Providing continuous supply of materials via SAP queue
  • Following yard standards, including waste segregation and packaging storage
  • Replenishing raw materials (packaging, lids, preforms, etc.)
  • Adhering to SOP re-Validation periods
  • Engaging in S.D.C.A verification for sustainability and standards improvement
  • Reporting hazards and incidents
  • Participating in the 3Cs initiative for improvements
  • Reporting damages and disposing of damaged products appropriately
  • Maintaining area cleanliness and hygiene tasks
  • Using defined waste streams standards

The candidate will need to demonstrate:

  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work independently or in a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change
