Job summary

RE Recruitment Group is hiring an Operator Inspector in Gloucester to join the production team. The role involves preparing components, racking and jigging, operating surface treatments, and ensuring high-quality outcomes.

You will read and follow detailed work instructions, inspect finished parts against drawings, take basic measurements, and document production activities. Training is provided, with a view to permanent, full-time employment.

Location: Gloucester
Salary: £13.47 per hour, increasing following successful completion of probation
Hours: 6:00am–4:00pm or 7:00am–5:00pm

We are looking for a reliable, hands-on and detail-focused Operator Inspector to join the production team in Gloucester.

What You'll Be Doing

• Preparing components for processing, including masking and cleaning.
• Racking and jigging components ready for treatment.
• Operating a range of surface treatment processes following work instructions and job requirements.
• Carefully handling components throughout production to prevent damage.
• Unmasking and checking components after processing.
• Inspecting finished components against drawings and specifications.
• Carrying out basic measurements using inspection equipment.
• Completing production and quality documentation accurately.
• Supporting continuous improvement and helping us maintain our high standards.
