Cencora is recruiting a Warehouse Operative to join our busy Castle Cary warehouse. This role involves accurate picking, packing, stock checks and safe handling of goods in a fast-paced environment. You will support daily operations, maintain inventory integrity and contribute to meeting productivity targets.

The position is full-time and permanent with on-site facilities and benefits. A meticulous, team-oriented approach and adherence to health and safety standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse logistics desirable.
• Experience with picking/packing and goods-in/out operations.
• Experience using handheld scanners or warehouse management systems.
• Right to work in the UK.

Summary of Role: We are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our busy warehouse operation in Castle Cary. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch
• Receive, check and put away incoming stock deliveries
• Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently
• Maintain accurate inventory and stock control procedures
• Operate warehouse equipment in line with company procedures and training
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety requirements
• Keep warehouse areas clean, organised and free from hazards
• Support colleagues and contribute to achieving operational targets

Skills and Knowledge

Experience and Qualifications

• Forklift or MHE experience would be advantageous, although not essential
• Right to work in the UK

Desirable

• Experience working within a fast-moving warehouse environment
• Previous experience working to productivity or performance targets
• Knowledge of stock control processes
• MHE licences or certifications

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Additional flexibility may be required to support operational requirements.
