Job summary

VolkerHighways is seeking an Operative to join the Traffic Management team at the Wokingham depot. You will install, maintain and remove traffic management in line with Chapter 8 and scheme drawings, while exemplifying safety and quality.

You should have experience in traffic management and highways maintenance, a valid CSCS card, NHSS 12D M1-M6 qualifications, a full UK driving licence, and ideally LNHSS 12A/B; First Aid at Work is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in traffic management operations and highways maintenance.
• Holder of a valid CSCS card.
• NHSS 12D M1-M6 qualifications are essential.
• LNHSS 12A/B is desirable.
• Full valid UK driving licence is required.
• First Aid at Work qualification is desirable.

About The Role

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an Operative to join our Traffic Management business, working out of our Wokingham depot.

The successful candidate will work to instruction from supervisors, ensuring all traffic management is installed, maintained and removed in accordance with Chapter 8 and scheme drawings, whilst demonstrating by example a Safety and Quality approach that is without compromise.

About You

• Previous experience in traffic management operations
• Previous experience in highways maintenance
• Holder of valid CSCS card
• Holder of NHSS 12D M1-M6 qualifications (essential)
• Holder of LNHSS 12A/B (desirable)
• Holder of full valid UK driving license
• Holder of valid First Aid at Work qualification (desirable)
