Job summary

VolkerHighways, part of VolkerWessels UK, is seeking an Operative to join our Traffic Management team at the Brentwood depot. The role requires installing, maintaining and removing traffic management per Chapter 8 and project drawings, under supervision, with a strong safety and quality focus.

You should bring experience in traffic management and highways maintenance, hold a CSCS card, NHSS 12D M1-M6 qualifications, a valid UK driving license, and be committed to working safely and

We have the capability to deliver major surfacing and public realm infrastructure projects. Our specialist in-house traffic management division provides expert advice and support across the industry, whilst assisting with our own, in-house contracts.

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an Operative to join our Traffic Management business, working out of our Brentwood depot.

The successful candidate will work to instruction from supervisors, ensuring all traffic management is installed, maintained and removed in accordance with Chapter 8 and scheme drawings, whilst demonstrating by example a Safety and Quality approach that is without compromise.

About You

• Previous experience in traffic management operations
• Previous experience in highways maintenance
• Holder of valid CSCS card
• Holder of NHSS 12D M1-M6 qualifications essential
• Holder of LNHSS 12A/B desirable
• Holder of full valid UK driving license
• Holder of valid First Aid at Work qualification (desirable)
