Where will you be working?

We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.

This role will be within our Water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

What will you be doing?

As an Operative you'll be part of our R&M Department who deliver vital repair and maintenance work for our client across Wales.

You'll be required to carry out risk assessments (understand, able to complete and follow, along with the set up site and removal of site).

We'll need you to inspect all work and work equipment for defects and report any defects or damages.

You'll need to work to a high Health & Safety standard and we'll need you to plan daily routes for carrying out work.

What You’ll Bring

• Have you gained your NRSWA Street works? This is desirable
• Are you first aid trained? This is desirable but not essential.
• Have you gained EUSR Water SHEA & EUSR National Water Hygiene?
• Do you hold a valid UK driving license? You will need one to be considered for this role.
• Are you a strong problem solver with effective communication skills?
• Can you work to tight timescales and prioritise work efficiently?
• Do you have the ability to work within health and safety legislation?
