Job Description
Operations, Warehouse & Facilities Manager
Buckinghamshire
£65,000 - £70,000, negotiable depending on experience.
Right, let’s get straight to it.
You’re good with people. Like, really good. Not the fake-nice, “circle back” kind of good. You’re the type who can calm chaos, get things moving, and keep everyone pointed in the right direction—even when half the team are chasing different squirrels.
If that sounds like you, read on.
We’re looking for an Operations Manager. A proper one. Someone who gets a buzz out of making things work better, faster, smarter—not just keeping the wheels turning, but tuning the whole engine.
This isn’t about micromanaging people with clipboards or running pointless meetings about other meetings. This is about real, boots-on-the-ground leadership. You’ll be managing around 100 people across the UK and Ireland, and yes—there will be spreadsheets. But you’ll also be fixing systems, streamlining processes, and making sure the place runs like clockwork, not a rusted-out tricycle.
Warehouse ops. Product prep. Facilities. Efficiency. Compliance. Cost-saving. You’ll be across all of it. Not just reacting, but shaping how it’s done. You’ll be the glue between strategy and execution, making the big stuff actually happen.
What do we want from you?
Leadership that earns respect, not eye-rolls. A brain wired for problem-solving. A sixth sense for what’s working and what’s not. You can translate boardroom babble into things people actually understand—and give your team clear direction without sounding like a robot.
If you’ve got Lean or Six Sigma, lovely. If not, don’t worry—we’d rather have someone who just gets stuff done.
It goes without saying, but let’s say it anyway—you’ll need to be sharp with admin, calm under pressure, good with people, and allergic to inefficiency.
In return? You’ll get a job that actually makes a difference. You’ll see the impact of your decisions. You’ll work for a business that’s already strong—but hungry for better. And you’ll have the freedom to build something you’re proud of.
Background?
You’ll need a background in a service/workshop environment, ideally with exposure to assembly and/or refurb of manufacturing equipment.
