Job summary

Veolia Group operates Water Tech with a dedicated team tackling water, energy, and safety challenges. The Operations Technologist supports the Operations Leader and collaborates with Account Managers to service, report, and propose improvements within customer accounts.

Role: Operations Analyst; Salary between £31k-37k depending on experience; Location: London / South East with some hybrid work. Visa sponsorship is not available; applicants must have the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Chemistry/Chemical Engineering degree or equivalent scientific degree.
• UK water treatment industry experience.
• Experience with cooling towers, closed systems, Legionella.
• Full valid UK driving license.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and compliance with EHS requirements and policies.
• Complete Legionella sampling and document using internal systems.
• Manage QEHS documentation, RAMS, and MOC processes.
• Plan compliance calendar tasks and site inspections; audit findings tracked.
• Conduct SharePoint audits and manage access for colleagues and customers.
• Undertake POWRA and perform safety site visits; support audits.
• Support Holidays coverage and execute the defined service plan.
• Communicate technical concepts to customers and to Water Tech team.
• Generate CSRs with Observations, Consequences and Actions for customers.
