Job summary

Rexel UK Ltd. invites applications for a Warehouse Team Leader role at our Warrington Hub on the night shift (21:30 – 06:00).

You will support the Shift Manager by overseeing stock movements, maintaining service standards and developing a capable team to meet tight timelines. The ideal candidate has warehouse leadership experience, can supervise 5+ staff, is proficient with Excel/Word/Outlook, understands manual handling and basic Health & Safety, and holds a FLT licence with 12 months

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience including picking, packing and loading vehicles.
• Experience supervising 5 or more staff to meet deadlines and maintain productivity.
• Confident use of IT software packages such as Excel, Word & Outlook.
• Understanding of manual handling and basic Health & Safety requirements.
• A FLT licence with 12 months experience using it.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and motivate the warehouse operative team to achieve service levels safely and effectively.
• Keep the Shift Leader updated on operational or administrative issues so the team stays informed and prepared.
• Move stock efficiently and safely in line with operating procedures and required timescales.
• Ensure audit and security requirements are followed for company vehicles.
• Meet picking, packing and goods movement targets, including goods in and loading.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment in line with Health & Safety policies.
• Look after equipment including PPE and report issues promptly.

Job Description
