Job summary

Rexel UK in Exeter is seeking a skilled Warehouse Person to join our supply chain team on a Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00 shift. You will manage warehouse operations and prepare orders for shipment, with a counter balance licence preferred.

Ideal candidates have strong warehouse experience, can work to tight SLAs in a fast-paced environment, and communicate effectively with colleagues and drivers. We offer a supportive team and opportunities to develop within Rexel.

Qualifications

• EXPERIENCE: Strong warehouse experience, including safe manual handling, picking, packing, goods-in and goods-out, loading/unloading trailers, palletising and basic stock replenishment.
• COMMUNICATION: Clear communicator with experience liaising with supervisors, drivers, hauliers and cross-functional teams.
• ADAPTABILITY: ability to switch up your day to support the business needs.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with a high degree of accuracy.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling of goods.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations in the warehouse.
• Assist in cycle counts, returns and logging supplier discrepancies.
• Communicate effectively with management and team members.
• Perform basic maintenance and cleaning tasks in the warehouse.

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Warehouse Person, Ideally with a counter balance licence to join our supply chain team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for managing warehouse operations and making deliveries, ensuring the smooth flow of goods throughout our supply chain.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting cycle counts, Returns & logging supplier discrepancy,
• Communicate effective with management & team members,
• Perform basic maintenance and cleaning tasks in the warehouse.

What we are looking for..

• EXPERIENCE: Strong warehouse experience, including safe manual handling, picking, packing, goods-in and goods-out, loading/unloading trailers, palletising, basic stock replenishment and use of warehouse equipment (pump trucks, pallet jacks). Comfortable working to tight SLAs and shift patterns in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
• COMMUNICATION: Clear communicator with experience liaising with supervisors, drivers, hauliers and cross-functional teams; confident in reporting issues, escalating problems, giving and receiving instructions.
• ADAPTABILITY:have the ability to switch up your day when needed, to support the businesses needs
