Polypipe Civils & Green Urbanisation is seeking an Operations Team Leader in our Cistermiser and Keraflo division. You will lead assembly operators, coordinate daily production, and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

You will mentor team members, drive improvements, and collaborate with other departments to meet customer requirements and production targets. The role is based at the Aylesford site with 40 hours/week.

• Previous experience leading or supervising a team.
• Experience with complex assembly and manufacturing processes in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of quality standards, health and safety, and continuous improvement principles.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, motivate and support the Assembly Team to achieve daily production targets and business objectives.
• Plan and coordinate assembly activities in line with production schedules and customer requirements.
• Allocate work to the team, ensuring resources are used efficiently.
• Serve as the first point of contact for assembly team members, providing guidance and coaching.
• Ensure all products are assembled to work instructions and quality standards; report defects.
• Promote a strong health and safety culture and conduct regular workplace inspections.
• Support training and development of team members; identify skills gaps.
• Monitor attendance and performance; escalate concerns as needed.
• Drive continuous improvement via Kaizen and waste reduction initiatives.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operational flow.
