Job summary

Polypipe Building Products, part of the Genuit Group, is hiring for a manufacturing operative in Doncaster to support smooth production, quality control and waste reduction. The role involves ensuring products meet standards, machines run safely, and packaging is accurate, while maintaining a clean work environment.

The ideal candidate demonstrates reliability, a positive work ethic, and a willingness to develop knowledge of products and packaging requirements.

Responsibilities

• Working days & afters: 1 week 6:00am - 2:00pm / 1 week 2:00pm - 10:00pm

Role

To ensure smooth operation of the manufacturing process and focus on achieving the highest levels of product quality whilst minimising waste and downtime on the machines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all production is checked for defects and meets the required quality standards


• Ensure all machines are in a safe condition to run, and report any issues immediately


• All products should be packed neatly and be free from flash or any forms of debris


• Products need to have the correct identification


• Work in accordance with all SSW’s and maintain a clean and tidy work environment

Requirements

• Develop own knowledge of products and packaging requirements


• Comply with all Health & Safety requirements


• Monitor production for compliance to quality requirements


• Positive work ethic and excellent timekeeping
