WASTE MANAGEMENT AND RECYCLING OPERATIONS EXPERIENCED SITE SUPERVISOR / ASSISTANT OPERATIONS MANAGER REQUIRED WITH A SOLID WASTE INDUSTRY BACKGROUND, REQUIRED TO DRIVE OPERATIONAL PERFORMANCE
HOURS: 36 per week on a rota including weekends
LOCATION: Wembley area
You will oversee the operations at a waste management site ensuring KPI’s are met, and safety, ISO standards, environmental and company policy are adhered to.
You will deliver effective throughput within the operation and ensure that staffing levels are controlled, and performance levels are kept to a high standard.
You will run projects to undertake improvements to the operation
You will have experience overseeing a team of staff on a waste processing or waste transfer site
You will be able to demonstrate improvements you have made to the operation
Excellent man and change management skills – you will have experience as a Supervisor, Team Leader, Foreman, or Manager
Useful qualifications WAMITAB / COTC level 4 (Certificate of technical competence) / IOSH / NEBOSH / IEMA / Lead Auditor / Project Management / Lean / Six Sigma
