Job summary

GBJ FedEx Express UK Transportation Limited is hiring an Operations Supervisor responsible for monitoring KPI performance, delegating workloads, and keeping subcontract costs to a minimum. The role manages Clerical staff, Operatives and Drivers (mostly self-employed) across a 40-hour week.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:30-18:00, with premiums for after-hours and late shifts. Yearly pay on advertised hours is £34,465.60, and training plus benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory capacity preferably industry relevant
• Strong communication skills
• Great attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• The ability to engage and inspire the team to achieve results
• Capability to report correct information to colleagues regarding vehicle usage

Responsibilities

• Supervise Clerical staff, Operatives and Drivers (mostly self-employed)
• Monitor KPI`s and performance of the team
• Delegate workloads and ensure subcontract costs are kept to a minimum
• Support the Operations Manager and help maintain operational efficiency and service levels
