Job summary

Ipsum Water is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations across London and the South East. You will manage engineers, technicians, vehicles, plant and equipment, ensuring safe, efficient delivery and excellent customer service.

Reporting to the Project & Planning Managers, you will conduct site audits, monitor performance, support workforce development, and collaborate with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily activities of engineers and technicians across multiple sites.
• Oversee vehicles, plant, equipment, and operational issues arising from site activities.
• Monitor team performance against Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards.
• Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure safe systems of work are followed.
• Carry out frontline people management activities including return-to-work interviews and investigations.
• Ensure vehicles, plant, and equipment are maintained and operated correctly.
• Implement and monitor company policies, procedures, and improvement plans.
• Ensure incidents, accidents, and near misses are reported and investigated appropriately.
