Huws Gray Newmarket is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead a team of yard operatives and drive efficient branch operations at our Newmarket branch. You’ll coordinate transport, fleet and customer service, ensuring timely deliveries and smooth daily workflows.

We’re looking for a motivated and organised OperationsSupervisor to lead a team of yard operatives,manageoperations, and provide great customer serviceat our Newmarketbranch.

What you’ll be doing

• Coordinating and overseeing transport & fleet operations, ensuring accurate that get to our customers on time
• Supporting, monitoring and communicating with your eamto keep things running efficient
• Maintaining strong communication with internal teams and external contacts across the supply chain
• Provide create customer service while dealing with out customers, whether that is over the phone or on our counter
• Managing health and safety practices to ensure a safe and tidy working environment
• Ensuring branch policies and compliance standards are met
• Oversee operations including work allocation, stock counter, site management, setting and communicating objectives, ensuring quality standards are met, and resolving problems
