The role reports to the Assistant Operations Manager and will oversee daily operations, assist drivers and matrons, and drive safety and compliance to ensure reliable service. • Strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in transportation, logistics, or operations preferred.
• Knowledge of safety and compliance programs is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Operations Supervisor – Coney Island

Leesel Transportation is seeking a hands‑on Operations Supervisor to support our growing Coney Island operation. This highly visible leadership role will oversee daily operations, support drivers and matrons, drive safety and compliance, and help ensure reliable service for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily transportation operations and dispatch activities.
• Build strong relationships with drivers and matrons through regular field engagement.
• Monitor attendance, performance, safety, and service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with DVIR, Lytx, DOE/OPT, and company policies.
• Assist with onboarding, coaching, and employee development.
• Help manage operational costs, including fuel and toll expenses.
