As an Operations Specialist supporting Equity and Fixed Income trading activity, you will support trading desks based in London and the US. This role offers an opportunity to solve challenging problems while working closely with experienced traders and software engineers to select the right tools and solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. Support OTC equity settlements with counterparties.
2. Collaborate with traders to support execution workflows.
3. Handle corporate actions and related entitlements properly.
4. Support Futures & Options, Fixed Income, and Repo clearing.
5. Ensure accurate processing of trade lifecycle internally and externally.
6. Investigate and resolve trade and position breaks with clearing firms and prime brokers.
7. Master the firm’s proprietary trade capture and inventory management systems.
8. Act as process super-user, providing support and recommendations for system and workflow enhancements.
9. Liaise with technical teams to ensure proper support and implement improvements.
10. Focus on process efficiency, risk reduction, and alignment with DRW standards.

Requirements:

1. At least 3 years of middle/back office operations experience in European Equity settlements.
2. Experience with other product lifecycles, primarily Fixed Income, Futures, and Options.
3. Background in European equities, ideally supporting other ancillary products at a trading or buy-side firm.
4. Experience working with front office and senior management in active trading environments.
5. Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent experience.
6. Ability to work independently, analyze problems, and implement solutions.
7. Ability to manage technical issues and collaborate with technology teams.
8. Strong proficiency in MS Excel; VBA, PowerQuery, and Python are preferred.
