CK Group is recruiting for an Operations Site Chemist to join a waste management company at their site in Sheffield on a three-month fixed-term contract.

Salary: GBP 13.80 per hour

Operations Site Chemist Role

Your main duties will be:

1. Inspect and analyze wastes received for processing.
2. Oversee waste processing, undertake analyses, and maintain records.
3. Undertake waste processing operations.
4. Load and unload vehicles.
5. Support clients by listing, segregating, and labelling packaged chemical waste on their premises.
6. Safely transport packaged chemical waste to permitted disposal sites.

Your Background

The ideal candidate will have:

• A degree in chemistry or a minimum of HND in Chemistry or a related subject.
• A full UK driving licence.
• ADR training and experience in segregating and transporting chemicals are advantageous.
