CK Group are recruiting for an Operations Site Chemist to join a waste management company at their site in Sheffield on a three-month fixed-term contract.

Salary: 13.80 per hour

Operations Site Chemist Role:

Your main duties will include:

1. Inspecting and analyzing wastes received for processing.
2. Overseeing waste processing, conducting analyses as necessary, and maintaining records.
3. Carrying out waste processing operations.
4. Loading and unloading vehicles.
5. Supporting clients/customers by listing, segregating, and labelling packaged chemical waste on their premises.
6. Safely transporting packaged chemical waste to permitted waste disposal sites.

Your Background:

The ideal candidate will have:

1. A degree in chemistry or a minimum of HND in Chemistry or a related subject.
2. A full UK driving licence.
3. ADR training and experience in segregating and transporting chemicals are advantageous.
