Overview

Operations Schedule Planning Analyst (16316)

We are seeking an Operations Schedule Planning Analyst to join our Operations Planning department. This role reports to the Operations Schedule Manager and supports the design of the commercial flight schedule by assuring it is safe, operationally feasible and cost efficient. The role will work closely with Scheduling and Operational teams, leading the coordination of future schedule activities.

Responsibilities
  • Collate and verify future schedules against operational schedule parameters using analytical tools.
  • Model and calibrate future performance to ensure the right operational resilience, in line with pre‑agreed KPIs.
  • Collaborate with operational and commercial stakeholders to balance operational performance and commercial considerations.
  • Conduct research and development on concepts and initiatives to support continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Strategic analytical experience with the ability to extract insights from data and facilitate trade‑off discussions.
  • Degree or equivalent experience in a numerical or analytical field.
  • Meticulous attention to detail; proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with MS SQL Studio, Python, and Tableau.
  • Ability to use data modelling to drive initiatives that enhance operational performance.
Location & Hours

This is a full‑time role based in Luton Airport, working 40 hours per week. Hybrid working is supported with three days per week in the office.
