Job summary

Sizewell C Company is seeking a Pre-operations Capability and Training Lead to shape the future workforce for one of the UK's largest energy projects. The role is based in Bristol or Gloucester with hybrid options and offers a starting salary of £66,000 plus bonus and benefits.

You will lead capability frameworks, development pathways and training strategies, working with HR, NSA and programme leads to ensure readiness for commissioning and operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in workforce capability, organisational development, learning and development, or strategic workforce planning.
• Ability to develop capability frameworks and training strategies.
• Strong stakeholder management with senior leaders.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Shape and deliver the workforce capability strategy across the project lifecycle.
• Ensure readiness milestones with the right people, skills and qualifications.
• Collaborate with HR, NSA and programme leads to develop capability frameworks and training pathways.
• Lead capability assessments to identify gaps and risks.
• Develop and maintain the Pre-Operations Training Plan aligned to future needs.
• Partner with external providers to deliver learning solutions and pathways.
• Monitor progress and provide governance-focused insight and recommendations.
• Influence senior stakeholders to keep capability a strategic priority.
• Help build a highly capable, safety-focused workforce for Sizewell C.
