Job summary

Genesis Energies, a global advisory unit within Technip Energies, is recruiting for an Operations Readiness Consultant to provide independent contract services across energy projects. The role anchors on ORA delivery, operability enhancement, and readiness assurance throughout project phases, including pre-commissioning and handover.

Based in the UK, the successful candidate will join a cross‑functional team supporting both onshore and offshore assets, with travel across the UK and abroad as

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering subject or related field.
• Professional accreditation or membership.
• Experience delivering Operations Readiness and ORA programs.
• Experience in owner/operator environment desirable.
• Multidisciplinary project coordination experience.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to project execution team on Operations Readiness and Assurance processes.
• Develop operability, reliability, maintainability and asset management strategies.
• Establish preventative maintenance and inspection routines.
• Prepare OPEX estimates and budgets for operations phase.
• Lead ORA delivery and operational readiness reviews.
• Ensure tasks meet operational readiness before transition to operations.
• Manage risk registers for operations.
• Support commissioning and startup teams with readiness plans.
