Operations Product Development Manager

Hybrid working - Central London

Travel to France 2-3 times a year

Our client is a world-famous luxury fragrance house recognized for creating the finest artisan fragrances using exquisite natural ingredients and traditional methods. As one of the largest independent players in high-end luxury fragrance globally, the company has achieved exceptional performance and aims to double in size over the next three years.

About the Role

KJ Talent & Partners is exclusively hiring an Operations Product Development Manager to join our client’s London-based global team. You will work closely with your peers to deliver projects efficiently, reduce development lead times, mitigate risks, and ensure cost, quality, and service standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Global Marketing Team on new product briefs to ensure design-to-cost, profitability, sustainability, and innovation.
• Work with cross-functional partners throughout the NPD launch cycle.
• Manage product launches, project development, and activities to ensure timely and cost-effective launches.
• Prepare and monitor Feasibility Costs, Cost of Goods, and Gross Margin Analysis in coordination with Finance (Procurement, Cost Control, Financial Management).
• Assess and manage risks related to timing, quality, and cost of NPD projects.
• Optimize launch processes, tools, and procedures.
• Serve as custodian of the Stage Gate process.

About You

• Over 4 years of project management experience, including launching global products with cross-functional operations teams.
• Experience in developing products and packaging within the beauty industry (perfume, skincare, or makeup), especially for luxury markets.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment with strong relationship management and influencing skills.
• Creative and innovative mindset.
• Analytical with strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills; fluency in French is highly desirable.
