HERE TO CREATE OUR BEST WORLD, A TON AT A TIME.

Sand is a finite resource, and it’s running out. Today, population growth and the pace of progress means the world is devouring sand like never before – 50 billion tonnes a year globally. This demand is unsustainable. Together with our customers we have already diverted over 100 million tonnes of waste material from landfill and put it back into the materials market for use in construction; protecting sand & aggregates in areas where natural material reserves are in decline and enabling production to happen closer to markets. We are minimising environmental impact and laying the foundations for the circular economy.

At CDE we work across the natural processing and waste recycling sectors, in five regions, to pioneer industry-leading, world-changing engineering solutions. Our headquarters are in Northern Ireland, and we have offices in the USA, Australia, Austria, and Brazil. For over 30 years we have relentlessly innovated and co-created wet processing solutions – completing over 2,000 global projects– and we’re only getting started. Our purpose is to create our best world, a ton at a time; empowering our customers to transform their materials into valuable resources for the betterment of people, planet, and their bottom lines.

About The Role

Responsibilities:

· Supports the Operations function by creating, managing and communicating Operations Plans using our ERP system, ensuring customer expectations are aligned with internal plans, with project teams aware of time commitments and stakeholders updated on milestones and deliverables.

· Highlight any risks to project schedules as early as identified and put mitigation plans in place if necessary.

· Using own Initiative to spot and problem solve, with the confidence to challenge for resolutions to resolve and issues promptly.

· Ability to work independently under limited supervision, to manage/own Operation Plans with pro-active plan control via regular planning reviews, tracking schedule adherence and acting on any stoppages or slippages to mitigate any impact.

· Participate in and chair regular Operational meetings.

· Confidently and effectively provides communication with clarity of any actions required by internal departments to ensure plans are maintained with live data in the ERP system as a one source of truth, with all functions working to the latest information in line with business capacities.

· Co-ordinate timely closure of shop orders with Ops Management team to ensure finished goods inventory levels are accurate

· Ability to use Advanced Excel reporting to analyse data and information relative to own project portfolio, to action and/or provide solutions or escalation.

· Promote a culture of continuous improvement within Operations based on regular process reviews and effective root cause identification and problem-solving.

· Ability to use time management tools to maintain upkeep of daily/weekly/monthly lobby actions, tasks, reports and KPI’s.

· Promote a positive Health and Safety culture within the Factory Operations teams, ensuring the Home Safe Everyday message is at the forefront of everyone in the team.
