Job summary

Converge UK in Stafford is seeking an energetic Operations Operative / Collections Driver to support our IT recycling workflow. You will carry out multi‑drop collections, load and unload vehicles, and ensure documentation is accurate.

In warehouse and processing tasks you will weigh and record assets, log information in our systems, and assist with data wiping and refurbishment to promote reuse and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• As part of the operations team, carry out multi-drop IT recycling collections.
• Load and unload vehicles, palletise collections, and ensure documentation is completed accurately.
• Provide customer service and represent Converge UK on the road.
• Check, record, weigh, and count incoming assets and materials in the warehouse.
• Use computer systems to log asset information and support refurbishment work.
• Dismantle IT equipment for recycling or reuse and pick/pack orders for shipment.
• Follow health and safety procedures and sustainability practices.

Location: Stafford Department:IT Recycling Operations Hours:Full-time Monday to Friday between the hours of 8 am and 4.30 pm Reports to: Operations Supervisor

What You’ll Do

As a key member of our operations team, you'll play a vital part in the full lifecycle of our IT recycling process:

Collections & Delivery

• Carry out safe, professional, and efficient multi-drop IT recycling collections.
• Load and unload vehicles, palletise collections, and ensure all documentation is completed accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent Converge UK out on the road.

Warehouse & Processing Work

• Check, record, weigh, and count incoming assets and materials.
• Use our computer systems to log asset information.
• Support refurbishment work, including data wiping and basic repairs.
• Dismantle IT equipment for recycling or re-use.
• Pick and pack orders for shipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant workspace.

Quality & Standards

• Follow internal management systems, health & safety procedures, and sustainability practices.
• Ensure products meet required quality assurance and testing standards.
• Support continuous improvement and Lean working practices.
