Job summary

Glade Academy, part of Eastern Multi-Academy Trust (EMAT), is seeking an Operations Officer to support the smooth day-to-day running of the academy.

This role focuses on efficient processes, effective coordination of staff, students and visitors, and delivering high-quality administrative support in a busy school environment.

Hours are 37 per week (term time plus 4 weeks) with a permanent contract; you will be asked to produce reports from systems and uphold safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.

Qualifications

  • GCSE English and maths at Level 2 (or equivalent).
  • Business Admin qualification or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in a busy general office environment.
  • Supervisory experience and coordinating wider functions.
  • Understanding of education, preferably primary.
  • Ability to prioritise and work under pressure at key times.
  • Able to produce reports from systems and use IT effectively.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.

Responsibilities

  • Support the smooth day-to-day running of Glade Academy.
  • Coordinate staff, pupils and visitors to ensure efficient operations.
  • Contribute to process improvements and provide high-quality admin support.
  • Produce reports from our systems and maintain accurate records.
  • Uphold safeguarding and promote pupil wellbeing.

What you will need
