Job summary

Summer-Browning Associates is seeking two Operations Manager for an initial six-month assignment with hybrid working in Bristol. You will monitor and control project budgets, ensuring financial accountability and cost efficiency, while supporting the development and implementation of the operational strategy.

The ideal candidate will hold Active SC clearance and have a strong background in delivery Operations Management support, including acquisition strategy, stock control, contract management

Summer-Browning Associates is currently supporting our defence client, who is seeking x2 Operations Manager for an initial six-month assignment with the option to extend.
Location: Hybrid working - Bristol
About the role: You will be responsible for monitoring and control project budgets, ensuring financial accountability and cost efficiency. In addition, supporting the development and implementation of the operational strategy for the project.
The ideal candidate will hold Active SC and have a strong background in delivery Operations Management support, with the following skills and experience:

• Experience of developing and implementing an acquisition strategy aligned with Category A Approval requirements.
• Need to understand stock control, contract management, ensuring all milestones are met, standards being maintained, service surveillance.
• Experience in co-ordination and logistics which needs to be at a high level i.e. cargo, freight.
• Experience in supporting the planning and execution of operational trials, testing, and evaluation activities.
