Job summary

Summer-Browning Associates is supporting our defence client with two Operations Manager vacancies for an initial six-month assignment, with an option to extend. The role is based in Bristol with hybrid working.

You will monitor and control project budgets, ensure financial accountability and cost efficiency, and support the development and implementation of the operational strategy for the project. The ideal candidate will hold Active SC clearance and have a strong background in delivery

Qualifications

• Experience developing and implementing an acquisition strategy aligned with Category A Approval requirements.
• Understanding stock control, contract management, milestones, standards and service surveillance.
• Experience coordinating logistics at a high level (cargo, freight).
• Experience supporting planning and execution of operational trials, testing and evaluation activities.

About the role:

• Need to understand stock control, contract management, ensuring all milestones are met, standards being maintained, service surveillance.
• Experience in co-ordination and logistics which needs to be at a high level i.e. cargo, freight.
• Experience in supporting the planning and execution of operational trials, testing, and evaluation activities.
