Package

Basic Salary: Dependent on experience, plus car allowance and eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus scheme. Details available on our careers page.

Work Pattern: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Location: Field/Home based, with travel to Walsall and Preston for team meetings

Main Purpose of Role

Deliver exceptional service to internal and external customers, managing direct labour and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and controlling budgets and resources effectively.

Responsibilities

• Be part of the duty managers rota for on-call duties
• Manage daily, weekly, and monthly direct labour budgets
• Oversee day-to-day performance of the DLO
• Ensure efficient use of resources and maintenance of company vehicles
• Order materials and manage stores duties
• Control repairs and maintenance of plant and equipment
• Travel to sites for audits and training
• Ensure compliance with health and safety and environmental regulations
• Manage subcontractor onboarding, compliance, and training
• Handle site and van audits, and resolve on-site issues

Qualifications and Experience

• IOSH managing health and safety (prerequisite)
• Minimum 5 years managing a remote workforce
• Minimum 10 years experience in the drainage and water supply industry
• Proficiency with live site operations and Eviid Pro
• Strong knowledge of regulations and industry standards
