Job summary

Failte Solar is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead UK operations across a multi-location distribution network (Reading, Redditch, Glasgow). Reporting to the General Manager, you will drive operational excellence, inventory availability, logistics performance and customer service standards while coordinating cross-functional teams.

Due to continued business growth, we are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and co-ordinate our UK operations across a multi-location distribution network (Redditch, Reading,Glasgow). Reporting to the General Manager, this is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring operational excellence, inventory availability, logistics performance, customer service standards, and cross-functional collaboration to support our expanding customer base. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business and play a significant role in shaping the future success of our UK operation.

Key Responsibilities to include:

• Oversee daily operations, ensuring safety, quality, service, cost and delivery objectives are met
• Ensure Compliance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 27001 and ISO 14001
• Drive Operational excellence through performance management and continuous improvement
• Develop KPIs and management information to monitor performance
• Plan resources and workforce according to business needs

Skills and Experience Required :

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Operations, preferably within a distribution environment
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 regulations
• Working knowledge of ISO27001 and ISO14001 regulations
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Proven track record in developing operational teams and enhancing performance
• Working knowledge of ERP systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across multiple functions and levels of the organization
