Job description

SHIFTS YOU ARE APPLYING FOR: 38.75 hrs p/w; Mon 08:00 - 16:30; Tue 08:00 - 16:30; Wed 08:00 - 16:30; Thu 08:00 - 16:30; Sat 10:30 - 19:00

To be an effective Operations Manager, you will support the Store Manager and be responsible for overseeing all stock and operational processes for stockroom/warehouse, security, and offices. You will lead and inspire your team to maximize sales, drive efficiencies, and achieve performance targets.

About the Role:

  • Support the Store Manager in providing leadership and inspiring your team to perform at their best, and step up to cover the store when needed.
  • Create an environment focused on delivering excellent service, achieving performance targets, and maintaining accurate stock processes, in a commercial, operationally efficient, and safe environment.
  • Assist the Store Manager in ensuring the store meets all legal and compliance requirements within your areas of responsibility.
  • Be confident in leading disciplinary and grievance procedures when necessary.
  • Manage manhour control expectations to ensure effective and efficient store processes.
  • Work alongside the team, demonstrating a hands-on approach for operational and commercial activities.
  • Show resilience during change and embrace feedback to continue driving results.
  • Ensure security staff are used effectively and all security procedures are followed.
  • Address training, development, and recruitment needs to a high standard.
