SHIFTS YOU ARE APPLYING FOR: 38.75hrs p/w; Mon 08:00 - 16:30; Tue 08:00 - 16:30; Wed 08:00 - 16:30; Thu 08:00 - 16:30; Sat 10:30 - 19:00

To be an effective Operations Manager, you will support the Store Manager and be responsible for overseeing stock and operational processes for the stockroom/warehouse, security, and offices. You will lead and inspire your team to maximize sales, drive efficiencies, and achieve performance targets.

This role is varied, fast-paced, challenging, but ultimately rewarding. People are at the heart of our work, so your experience in leading, coaching, and motivating a high-performing team will be crucial. We invest in your personal development from day one. Flexible working options are available.

About the Role:
  1. Support the Store Manager in providing leadership and inspiring your team, stepping up to cover the store when needed.
  2. Create an environment focused on excellent service, achieving performance targets, and maintaining accurate stock processes, in a safe and operationally efficient environment.
  3. Support the Store Manager in ensuring compliance with all legal and company requirements in your areas of responsibility.
  4. Lead disciplinary and grievance procedures when necessary.
  5. Manage manhour control expectations to ensure effective store processes.
  6. Take a hands-on approach to operational and commercial activities by working alongside your team.
  7. Show resilience during change and embrace feedback to drive results.
  8. Ensure security staff are effectively utilized and all security procedures are followed.
  9. Address training, development, and recruitment needs to a high standard.
About You:
  1. You are passionate about customers, people, and products, inspiring others and creating a positive team environment.
  2. You possess strong commercial and operational understanding, creating a great shopping experience for in-store and online customers.
  3. You are a team player who thrives in a results-driven, fast-paced environment, adaptable to change.

  8. You are flexible with working hours and willing to work additional hours, including some public holidays and Sundays, as needed.
