Overview

Operations Manager – IT Consultancy - Hybrid, London-Based

This is a full-time, permanent role in a small, ambitious Microsoft Dynamics 365 specialist consultancy based in London, with hybrid work (London Moorgate office).

Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership: oversee daily business operations, ensure compliance and excellence across processes; refine workflows to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and scale delivery; monitor KPIs and prepare performance reports for senior leadership.
• Project & Client Management: act as the primary client contact during project delivery, define scope, timelines, and deliverables; manage budgets, resources, and risk; lead project review meetings with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Team Development & Resource Management: lead and mentor the operations and consultancy team; oversee scheduling, timesheets, holidays, and resource allocation; foster collaboration across technical and non-technical teams; track budgets and provide forecasting and utilisation reporting through CRM systems; identify savings opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of operations and project management experience within IT, tech, or digital consultancy.
• Strong client-facing delivery experience with SMEs and large corporations.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects; proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Asana, MS Project) and CRMs (Salesforce / Microsoft Dynamics a plus).
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies; PMP or equivalent certification desirable.
• Highly organized, detail-driven, calm under pressure, with excellent communication and a flexible can-do attitude.
