UBY UK Limited is a monitoring technology company that utilises innovative software and onsite sensor hardware to provide our clients with decision-critical information in real-time, enabling more efficient, sustainable, and safer operations. We are seeking an Operations Manager to join us in our continued success in the UK market. Our solutions address challenges in structural Instrumentation & Monitoring (I&M), environmental, productivity, health, safety, and sustainability faced by construction stakeholders and infrastructure managers.

Experience Required:

You should have a background in major construction or civil engineering:

  • Proven experience in instrumentation and monitoring systems, including manual surveying methods.
  • Strong project management experience, including contract administration, staff management and development, and cost control.
  • Ability to work closely with the UBY sales team and clients to provide technical and operational guidance and support.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • A robust approach to working under pressure, prioritising workloads, and meeting critical deadlines.
  • An enthusiastic and structured approach to planning with solid problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities with an emphasis on safety.

Job Scope:

With a growing client base comprising main contractors and consultants, your focus will be on managing and delivering our full range of structural, geotechnical, environmental, and geolocation monitoring solutions.

  • Taking full responsibility for the successful execution and delivery of key projects to clients.
  • Developing an efficient programme of work and strategy for each project.
  • Managing project staff and fostering a positive team culture.
  • Liaising with clients to ensure effective communication.
  • Attending client and site meetings.
  • Coordinating with other project managers, managers, and subcontractors.
  • Ensuring functionality and compliance with company standards.
