Job summary

Saab UK is seeking an Operations Manager for the Bedford area, joining the BlueBear operation in Bedfordshire. The role focuses on governance, compliance, trials and business coordination to continuously improve BlueBear operations and integration with Saab UK.

Key duties include process standardisation, risk and opportunity management, and supporting audit and training activities to ensure compliance with ISO standards and export controls.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement across the organisation to high standards.
• Coordinate quality management system compliance and standardisation.
• Lead compliance with export control, health & safety, security and other regulations.
• Develop and track KPIs to support the Strategic Business Plan.
• Coordinate internal and external audit activity.
• Act as Risk and Opportunity Co-ordinator and lead business continuity activities.
• Coordinate implementation of new compliance standards and tools.
• Provide internal training on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
