Global Sports Jobs Limited is seeking an Operations Manager to lead daily club operations, ensuring safety, cleanliness and presentation to the highest standards. You will develop a high-performing team, drive compliance and partner with the Health & Safety Advisor and General Manager.

Based in Northampton, the role requires 40 hours per week and a proactive approach to continuous improvement and staff development within the Operations Team.

Formación

• Experience in operations management or a related field.
• Experience leading teams and payroll within budget.

• Ensure adherence to health and safety, brand standards and cleanliness.
• Collaborate with Health & Safety Advisor and General Manager on policies and updates.
• Identify and implement interventions to improve compliance and standards.
• Supervise and schedule activities, managing payroll costs within budget.
• Support staff development, set objectives and monitor performance.
• Fulfil Duty Shifts as required and manage staffing and facility issues.

About the Role

The role leads the day-to-day operation of the club, ensuring exceptional standards of safety, cleanliness, presentation and operational excellence. It involves developing and inspiring a high-performing team, driving compliance and continuous improvement, and creating an environment where members and team members can thrive. The role sits within the Operations Team and is 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the club, ensuring exceptional standards of safety, cleanliness, presentation and operational excellence.
• Develop and inspire a high-performing team, driving compliance and continuous improvement and creating an environment where members and team members can thrive.
• Ensure the team and colleagues adhere to the highest health and safety standards, brand standards and cleanliness in line with brand expectations.
• Collaborate with the Health & Safety Advisor and General Manager to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations and updates.
• Proactively seek operational interventions to ensure compliance and improve the club's cleanliness, brand standards and safety levels.
• Supervise and schedule team activities, ensuring full-time equivalent and payroll costs are controlled within budget.
• Champion growth and development of self and team, setting clear objectives and expectations and monitoring team performance throughout the year.
• Promptly nurture potential and address underperformance.
• Fulfil Duty Shifts when required, taking responsibility and accountability during the shift and controlling staffing and facility issues throughout the club.
